Aleksandar Mitrovic scores late winner for Serbia in Portugal

AMiracle has happen, Serbia won football match in Portugal 1:2 thanks to goal of Aleksandar Mitrovic in 90th minute! Madness happen at Estádio da Luz in Portugal capital!

It didn't start well, Portugal scored in second minute after blunder of Serbian defense, but it was clear that Serbian coach Dragan Stojkovic Piksi prepared his squad well for this game, that he chosen excellent tactics. Serbian players ran like robots, like cyborgs pressing Portugal high, making some lovely passing, showed very good control of ball and it is no wonder that Portuguese coach started sweating after first 30 minutes. Big chance for Vlahovic, post, following shot over bar, canceled goal after foul, another one for offside... Portugal had one big chance near the end of first half, but that was all what they did. Serbian players were better in duels, wanted win more and had bigger heart today. Tadic deflection ended up into Portugal net and things returned to beginning.

Second half brought good game, with one big chance for Portugal and a lot of fight, fouls, good passing, dribbling and everything one football game can bring. I was excited and happy thinking that even if we fall in play off we can go to World Cup. However I had feeling that we could see "Madness on Estadio da Luz" which is synonym for goal of Aleksandar Mitrovic who celebrates goals scored for Fulham by showing with fingers that he's crazy! :)

I thought he is joking, but in 90th minute I realized that he is really crazy! Cross on second post, he sneaked there escaped his guardians and made perfect header where ball hit first ground then deflected inside goal near post! 1:2 Ronaldo was kneeling in disbelief holding his head and looking to the ground. All Serbian players from squad and from bench ran to celebrate goal. Scorer was so excited that he forgot to show madness with fingers but just took off shirt and run toward corner and lay on grass!

Not long ago he missed decisive penalty against Scotland and we didn't go to Euro. A lot of 'fans' were saying he is finished, fat blah blah blah... I am happy I was never one of those. I valued him since he was in Partizan Belgrade missing chances playing alongside Lazar Markovic. All blabbered Markovic is top, he is not, I knew he is top, he fights and does everything for club and country! I even wrote him support message at that time saying Henry missed Godfather on World Cup 1998 and become legend in Arsenal. Wenger said it's important to enter into chances goals will come... I am happy I was right about him. There is no player who deserved that goal more!

Well done Mitrovic! Aleksandar Mitrovic it's not joke - you are really crazy! :) LOL

One more thing, more like warning to establishment in Serbia. If you dare to sack Dragan Stojkovic Pixi like you did with Slavoljub Muslin you can count on riot on streets of Belgrade!!! Don't you even think about that!!! Dragan Stojkovic Pixi remember that name!
